My husband has been making me paddles! He’s made me a whole set. You’ll see just a few of them below. The set of personal paddles he made me were created out of rescued exotic and domestic planks. He’s taken the time to hand sand each of them until they have a finish like a fine piece of furniture that won’t abrade or scratch me when he uses them to spank me. They are comfortable to hold because of how he shapes the handles and once they’re finished them, he rubs mineral oil and beeswax into them to make the finish shine without making my skin irritated with chemicals. I love them!

I suggested we take some photos of our paddles to see if my readers would be as thrilled with owning them as I am.

The paddles shown below are our personal paddles, but the designs they illustrate may be ordered and each will come in its own draw string bag, similar to the ones shown in the images. Each paddle is custom made to order in the newly milled exotic or domestic wood of your choice. Feel free to make special design requests. All paddles are unstained and are finished with mineral oil and beeswax to be allergen free. Over time the natural wood colors will deepen with age:

Certain exotic woods may be subject to availability which may delay shipping. Add $6.00 for shipping to any paddle price to get the total cost of each paddle.

Paddle care: Paddles may be cleaned with warm soapy water, but do not soak the wood as this will cause them to split in time. We suggest an antibacterial soap with a dollop of vinegar. Occasionally, the wood will need waxing and buffing following its bath to keep the wood conditioned. Use a soft cloth to add a new coat of pure liquid beeswax as needed (it takes between a teaspoon to a tablespoon of wax depending on the size of the paddle) and let stand for a week out of its pouch while the wood absorbs the wax fully. Rub wax in vigorously until it comes to a high shine. Buff with a soft cloth to bring up the shine again after resting the wood and its ready to use. Keep the paddle stored in its pouch to protect the finish from scratches. We suggest that you store the cloths used for reconditioning waxing as the cloth will be saturated with the wax and may be used to spot buff between reconditionings. Spank safely and spank fun!
