THE SOUL in Sanskrit, in the terms of the Vedanta, is called Atman, which means happiness or bliss itself. It is not that happiness belongs to the soul; it is that the soul itself is happiness. From The Alchemy of Happiness by Hazrat Inyat Khan
I believe the soul needs many things… and among those things is a joy in the physical experience. It is, after all, a part of why it manifested in the body.
I believe that all of life is a soulful experience if we live with empowered intention and are mindful of our inner truth; that we are happiness itself in physical form.
You’ll see lots of posts here about sex because I explore my sexual feelings here as I write. There are sometimes very graphic images and very graphic sexual topics….but also lots is written about sacred sexuality, especially Tantra.
You’ll see also lots of writing about Gratitude, about friendship, family, humor, music, ecology, art, poetry, and polyamory.
For those of you who found your way here because you wanderedover from my more meditative blog, Little Seeds out of curiosity, you may find these topics uncomfortable or completely unexpected….but if you really pay attention, you’ll find yourself quite unsurprised that I might actually be a gloriously sexual being… just as you are.
People are very complex beings. We are political, neighborly, kind, proper, but just as well, we are childish, curious, bawdy and cruel. That’s just being human. People are fascinating and wondrous and if you think about it, each person is far more than they might seem on the surface and getting to know them better can be a sweet little puzzle.
Clearly the nature of this blog’s content makes it

If you can’t legally buy or rent adult oriented materials at a store, you shouldn’t be reading here….and frankly, I’d be surprised if the average teen is still reading by now, because I made this opening page all ‘woo-woo speerchul’ sounding, ’cause in many ways this blog is rather spiritual…among other things. *smiles*
If you like what you read here, I hope you’ll set yourself up a feed or bookmark Green Rootsdown so you won’t miss a post.
