It seems that my life is to be filled with mostly female voices for the next while.
Women have brought me newspapers and boxes to pack with.
Talked to me and shared contacts for where I’m going.
They’ve loaned me car carriers so that I can fit what I need in my little car.
Listened to me cry.
Come to visit me.
And a woman is giving me shelter for now…
Girl voices ring in my ears.
And heart.
Today is moving day.
Wish me a safe journey?
Send me a blessing for a graceful, prosperous new life?
I’m so grateful to the women in my life.
I’m so grateful for those beautiful soft hearts and listening ears that I have found in the special men who have stood by me these past years, especially these past months. You each know who you are.
Including my husband.
Farewell to a life as wife.
Not farewell to my friends.
Including my husband friend.
Just adios and aloha.
I’ll be back Maine.
So…It may be silent here a little while as I land at my friend’s house.
To those of you who blog and haven’t seen a comment from me in awhile, please know that you’ve been in my thoughts. Very much so. I will be around to catch up when I can get a connection all my own again. Soon.
*smiles* Tell me something good in the mean time?
That’s something that G used to ask me.
One of us would be a little afraid and he’d say, “Tell me something good sweetness.”
So I’d think of some good thing that happened and I’d tell him a story.
It always made both of us feel real better in the moment.
It always made us each feel strong and it put a smile on our faces.
Tell me something good?
Talk to you all soon.

Dear Shannee
I have sent you an email that includes a token gift – something I thought would mark today.
I have made the wishes that you asked for – and here is a lovely site where you and others can do the same ( although it is UK based…but I don’t think wishes have boundaries! )
http://www.3wishesforthefuture.com/
And here is a song for you – not the best quality for which I apologise.
And something good?
It snowed here last night, so I am looking out across open beautiful stretches of crisp, untouched, virgin snow, and you know, it is twinkling alive , as snow does when it catches the light…and it is full of newness, anticipation and calm.
Take care,
Olivia

Hello Olivia…You are so sweet. I have yet to open the email you sent me about the wish yet, but I just listened to the vid. Its trancy and haunting isn’t it? Thank you for these…and for the snowy beauty. ((big hugs))

Something good? How about your love and sweetness and light that you emit to all of us who come here to read, and to all the places you visit. You fill us with love always, in the gentlest, most unique ways. See that love that you’ve shared with so many like an old, softer than soft, but also sturdy and reliable, handmade quilt, nestled protectively around you now and for the days ahead!!!!
Love you, sweetest!
Tiggs
Hey there bouncy lady. Oooh…a warm soft quilt. Sounds good. Life has been chilly alot around me lately. Not figureatively but literally. During the week before I moved, m chimney gave out. I was living in a mostly unheated house, hovering over a space heater. Ugh! Feels good to sleep warm. *smiles* You feeling better these days? how the big guy? I suppose that you’ve answered all that on your blog, but I haven’t had a chance to read lately. I’ll be by soon though and catch up. Big hugs Tiggs!!

Safe travels, dear friend! Seems like the perfect time for a move! New beginnings in a new year. Something good – feeling warm and toasty in the front of the fire, sharing a book with my lover while the snow falls and blankets the earth.
Hope that your new home fills you with the same feeling of safety and warmth.
My thoughts and prayers are with you as you make this journey!
I do love a fire and a lover at once. Thats just lovely. I can just imagine you there with your book. *smiles* That’s a lovely something good. ((big hugs)) My new home is already feeling good. Thank you!! I’ll be by soon to see what you’ve been up to. *smiles*
Love,
Radha

Safe travels my friend and bright blessings
Hello Terra! Welcome to my blog. I’m sorry I didn’t immediately welcome you. but you are….Thank you for the blessings and please do say hello again!

i’ve done this, sweetheart. i know this. it’s hard and it’s exciting. i’m trying to come up with something really wise but am failing miserably. so the hell with wisdom – i’ve messed up so much in my life i’m the last one who should be offering it. so i’ll just send love.
o.g.
Hey there OG…*grins* Its nice to hear from you. Don’t worry. I’m in a good place…both to stay and emotionally. I’m sure that the grieving isn’t quite finished but I’m in to the adventure idea now…so its feeling pretty good. Just need to rest a bit now. Now don’t you be hard on yourself. Everyone makes mistakes and right now is not the best time for talking to yourself because you’re a naturally a bit apt to be lookin at the darker side of things instead of from your optimistic viewpoints so leave yourself alone. *winks and grins* I’ll be by later to see what you’ve been up to. A nap is sounding good at the mo. I will be needing to do that this week. Anyway…sending you some hugs. *smiles*

Hi Shannee:
Thanks for the beautiful music.. Very uplifting. I shall be thinking of you as you make new connections, new roots, and keep what feels precious to you and let go of what needs to be washed anew. I think of you everday Shannee.
Hugs for you
Andrades Girl
Hello Andrades! I’m glad you liked it. I especially liked the Sade lately. I think just walking Charlie is going to be making nice new connections because there are so many other people walking their dogs in the park. How’s the granddaughter of yours? Big blessings to you Andrades. *smiles*
