A Smattering of Fun Stuff

I’ve been doing the Unconscious Mutterings posts for awhile and I’ve come to really enjoy the participation of readers a great deal. I thought it might be fun to find some other ways to share something interactive…Check this out and toss some stuff in the comments box will ya? *smiles*

Of course, I’ve just gotta share some music while we’re having some fun chatting together too…

I think this is a Spanko Word of the Day:

Doyen

What do you think it means?

Urban Word

Crop Dusting

What do you think it means?

From Thinking Dominant

Do you allow your submissive to vote?
Are they able to vote for themselves or do you tell them who to vote for?

Right now I don’t have a submissive partner…a potential one, yes, but no one I can say is fully Mine at the moment. Still, I have no interest in becoming an Intellectual Owner. Voting is a civic responsibility…in other words it is not something I feel right dominating. I prefer to be in relationship with a strong independent person, no matter who tops whom. I want a person with his own opinions and beliefs and I want him to exercise free choice. In those things which he submits to me, I know then the deep joy in an unconditional gift. This is not a gift I want though. I want a man who will vote his conscience because I believe so deeply in the constitution.

From Submissive Journal Prompts

Can you experience sub space without physical pain?

Oh yes! Very much so. Just one example of this is I learned with my relationship with M that I can become orgasmic from scent training and from a certain interaction of mental/emotional connection being exercised with great arousal toward me.

Tell me what’s the first thing you think when you see this image?

By the way, you really ought to click the picture so you can see more of Dwek’s lovely work!

Shannee, thanks for the music, the words are unusual but hardily rare, I receive three daily and one weekly word newsletters.
I, of course never crop dust in an urban environment., and have on occasion been considered the doyen of a group. :D
My first thought on that photo was Tuareg, for underwater photography it’s very good, I clicked through, impressive!!!
    Love and warm hugs,
    Paul.

There goes Mr Vocabulary poking holes in my attempts to be clever. *smiles* I love those word a day things. Reminds me of good words. So….you only crop dust in a natural environment? *winks* You are a natural doyen no matter your age too. I’m sure of it. ((hugs)) Have a very lovely day Paul!

  3. Mr. Upton Ogood Says:

Although I actually know the word, and can use it in conversation, I’d like to offer this:

Doyen: a “Pawn-broker’s dozen”. In that a baker’s dozen is 13, a pawn-broker’s dozen would be 11. After all, a pawn-broker has to keep something for himself ;-)

    Upton Ogood

I find your name delightful. *smiles* Your jest is very adorable too. *winks* Blessing to you.

    This is fun!

I immediately thought of Paul. when I saw ‘Doyen’. It took me a couple of moments to remember what it meant, I kept seeing the spelling as ‘doyenne’ in my mind’s eye for some reason. Mr. Ogood’s definition is fab.

Um, I have to admit, I was guilty of ‘crop dusting’ just the other night. I couldn’t help it, it just happened… kind of…. with a little concentration. *blush*

That picture, although lovely, kind of disturbed me. I know it can symbolize many things, but my first hit was a dead woman. Maybe her flesh was too pale and her hand too limp to make me see much more than drowning.

And regarding the right to vote… I couldn’t agree with you more.

    *hugs*

Hey C! I thought of Paul about the Doyen word too. *smiles* Great minds think alike I guess. I don’t know many people who aren’t guilty of a little crop dusting at some point or another in life. *smiles* Paul is an exception I guess. *grins* I didn’t think of drowning…but I did think of a dance in the water…sometimes sadness…but I felt this sense of a man just out of sight with a hand on her ankle after dumping her in to have his way with her…Thanks for sharing your perspective of her though. I do like some of the others Dwek shares more from the perspective you shared because you can see the woman’s face and the serenity in it. A guy who votes is sexy I think. *smiles* ((big hugs))
