1. Who and when was your first crush?
I have told that story before here. It was 1974. I was ten years old.
2. Who and when was your first date?
My first date was with a young man of 19. It was near my 16th birthday and I went for a long motorcycle ride and to get an ice cream and then we lay on the lawn and kissed for hours. Damned if I can remember his name though. I haven’t forgotten his face. Nor the fact that he was very, very tall. Something like 6′5″. He had blonde hair and blue eyes and he was unbelievably attractive.
3. Who and when was your first kiss?
I was 14 years old. His name was David. It was 1978.
4. Who and when was your first partner while “fooling around” in car?
My first husband. I was 16 years old. We were at a parking lot at a beach. It was in 1978.
5. Who and when was your first partner while “fooling around” in a house?
My first husband. I was 17. We fooled around at his house. It was late at night and supposedly everyone was asleep. I think we woke up his step father though. He was a WW!! vet. Thinking back on it, I’m rather sure we woke him up.
6. Who and when was your first love?
I thought I was in love with my first husband. I did love him quite profoundly, but we weren’t a good match. Anyone with any maturity can tell you that its really necessary to be a good match with your life partner. If you are at constant odds, it will make daily life a living hell no matter how much you adore that person or have passion with that person. Getting along well in daily life and about your goals and needs as a person is just crucial to a peaceful co-existence. My next love was my son. That was in 1985 and continues to this day…and I adore my husband now. He is a twin soul. My greatest love and passion in my life so far, though there have been others come very, very close indeed. I met him in 1992.
Bonus: Who’s blog did you first comment on?
Hmmm…I am sure that it wasn’t my first blog to comment on, but I it is the first blog that I truly remember commenting on. That would be Wickedeasy’s blog. I remember several others too. Rosa’s blog and also FBK’s blog…I was an avid reader from the beginning of discovering blogs. I had a list of about 20 I followed for a year or more. Only a few of them do I still ever read. I keep loosing track of those original ones because whenever I turn my profile off the company clears off my watched list. That’s one thing I utterly adore about Google Reader. No clearing off my list if I don’t bother to check in for a long time.
I was doing some surfing on the topic of square dance. Just idle seeking. Didn’t find anything I really liked except this. Its a great little tune Justin King is playing…but really I’m just fascinated with watching him play his guitar that way.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm, this is interesting… OK… am gonna answer your questions to… grin…
1. Who and when was your first crush?
I was 14, my grandparents did a lot of camping on a place near a lake, he was 17 and had a real nice boat and we spend half the summer together…
2. Who and when was your first date?
Same boy that summer of 1978 (I was born in 1964 ;-) ) after hours on the lake we went for a drink and something to eat so I guess that qualifies as a date.
3. Who and when was your first kiss?
It gets boring… same guy… his name was Jeroel. (yep, that’s a dutch name)
4. Who and when was your first partner while “fooling around” in car?
That was years and years later… 1985, I married him some years later.
5. Who and when was your first partner while “fooling around” in a house?
Mmmmmmmmmm, that was 1981, I met him at my dancing school, he became my dance partner and a while later boyfriend. He was an only child and his folks had a busy shop so at his place we had lots of privacy.
6. Who and when was your first love?
The man I mentioned in answer 5, we were together for more then a year then a drunken driver killed him. It took me some years to get over this. I stayed away from men for some years. I’ve been married twice since, divorced to. And only recently met someone I love even more… I had to become 43 before I met my twinsoul… but ohhhhhhhhh do I love him…
bonus
that was an unknown to you no longer existing dutch blog, grin….

Hello Lessa!! I’m just delighted that you decided to play. *grins* Dance partner? What sort of dance I wonder? What a tragic moment in your life when he was killed. I’m so sorry. I am very glad that you have met someone you love so deeply now. You sound happy so much of the time when I read your blog. So full of love and joy. Its good to see that. ((hugs))

Shannee, if you read my writings most of the questions are answered..
A creative spanked wife was my fire comment and then MBS.
I’ve never seen anyone play quite like that!!!
A nice informative post dear girl, thank you.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.
That’s true they are mostly answered aren’t they? I enjoy your posts on Zille’s blog. MBS was your first blog? That’s a compliment to Bonny I”m sure. *smiles* I don’t recall ever seeing anyone play quite like that either…well Jimmy Hendrix would play all parts of his guitar, but it was usually so annoying, I couldn’t listen or watch. I know everyone really admires him, but personally, I prefer to watch Eric Clapton or some relative unknown like this guy than Hendrix any day. ((hugs)) I’m glad you played Paul. It seems like a fun meme, just like the unconscious mutterings in some ways…just light hearted to think on mostly.

Oh fun! I’ll come check it out Hermione. Thanks for thinking of me. *smiles*

Thank you so much for sharing that amazing video. I kept your site opened until Mr. Smith arrived yesterday so he could watch it. He’s been playing guitar since he was a kid. As I watched Justin King’s hands I noted that his fingers moved like Mr. Smith’s and that their hands looked alike. Long, strong and amazingly agile fingers.
Mr. Smith loved it and remembered a video his daughter had shown him from the movie ‘August Rush”. After watching that video, I began wondering if Justin King had performed on the soundtrack because the style was similar. He hadn’t, it was an acoustic guitarist named Kaki King. They’re no relation and she is absolutely amazing!
Three purchases from iTunes later, I’m one very happy girl… all because you went on a hunt for square dance music.
Thank you!
*hugs*
CeeCi
Hey there C!! I’m glad you and Mr. Smith liked the music. I guess that I’ll have to look up Kaki King now…*smiles* So I guess we are trading music we love. Thank you too. ((hugs)) Music is very important to me as I know it is to you. Its one of the best things in life. Don’t you think?
